The story is way too long, but long and short, on my first deployment to Iraq my buddy was driving my 90 300TT, and it died on him. The family mechanic said it sounded like it was going to put a rod through the block. Prior to my deployment the car did have a pretty solid engine knock. The car sat for 8 years, and I am just getting back into trying to get it started again. Any advice, positive or negative, I am open to. I love the car and don't want to ditch it, but if that's the only reality, I guess I will have to part ways. My thoughts are, drain fluids, and I was suggested to put the Marvel Mystery Oil into it. Get a new battery, and try to start it up then I don't know where to go from there. Any additional suggestions/thoughts/insight/comments are much appreciated. I just got back from the Connecticut Z Car Club meet, and I just really want to get my car driving again and then go from there with the long list that I should get done.
